Wondering what you can expect on a Peacock Bass Fishing Trip to South Florida?
When you book a peacock bass fishing trip with Bassmaster Guide Service you are investing in the fishing adventure of a lifetime. We are dedicated to our business and love what we do. When we have a day off, we go peacock bass fishing!
The day will begin by meeting your professional and courteous fishing guide at your pre-arranged location usually our local tackle shop. You will then ride with us to the boat ramps. While fishing with us we will be taking you back deep into the urban Miami canal system. We will work hard to put you on the biggest fish! We will be accessing remote areas of the Miami-Dade canal system that are NOT overfished.
You will see lots of wildlife on the water including iguanas, snakes, many types of birds and even the occasional alligator. You will get some great pictures if you bring your camera.
We will be casting an assortment of topwater baits, jigs, Rapalas, rattletraps and live bait. The strikes are explosive and the initial runs of the peacocks are second to none!
We fish out of a 2007 Stratos 201 Pro XL bass boat with a 225 Evinrude E-Tec. The boat has all of the goodies. We drive a Dodge 2500 truck that has plenty of room for you and your fishing buddies. We use All Star fishing rods teamed up with Pflueger reels and a variety of braided and monofilament fishing lines. Only the best in artificial tackle makes its way onto our boat and it is all at your disposal.
This will be a trip that you will remember to say the least!
